Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 12, 2026 · Effective for addvert.app

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains how Addvert (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and shares information when you use our website, analyzer, demo reports, workspace, credits, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to this policy. For rules about using the product, see our Terms and Conditions.

2. Information we collect

  • Account data — email, name, workspace details, role, and authentication information when you create an account or sign in.
  • Billing & credits data — plan, credit balance, purchase history, and payment status. Card details are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Ad analysis inputs — URLs you submit, files you upload (video/image creatives), brand profiles, notes, collections, and competitor tracking preferences you configure.
  • Analysis outputs — forensics reports, scores, transcripts, extracted frames metadata, Creative Genome fields, strategy extracts, scripts, and other AI-generated insights stored in your workspace.
  • Usage data — which features you run (e.g. basic vs deep analysis), credit consumption, and product events needed to operate the Service.
  • Technical data — IP address, browser/device info, cookies/session tokens, and basic analytics for security and reliability.

3. How we use information

  • Provide ad forensics, scoring, strategy extraction, and related intelligence tools
  • Process media you submit (download, frames, transcription, OCR, vision, LLM analysis)
  • Authenticate users, manage workspaces, and prevent abuse
  • Meter credits, process subscriptions, and send receipts
  • Improve models, prompts, and product quality using aggregated or de-identified signals where appropriate
  • Send transactional email (confirmations, security notices, product updates you opt into)
  • Comply with law and enforce our Terms

We do not sell your personal information. Analyses you run are saved to your workspace and are not published as a public competitor-ad database. We do not claim ownership of the original ads you analyze.

4. Public ads & third-party platforms

The Service is designed around analysis of publicly available advertising and assets you upload. When you paste a link (e.g. Meta Ad Library, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), we may retrieve publicly accessible creative and metadata needed to run forensics. We do not ask you for passwords to private accounts, and we do not intentionally bypass authentication or anti-bot protections.

Third-party platforms have their own terms and privacy policies. You are responsible for ensuring your use of URLs and uploads complies with those platforms and applicable law.

5. Sharing & processors

We share data only as needed to run the Service, including with:

  • Infrastructure providers — hosting, database, auth, and object storage for media and reports
  • AI / processing vendors — speech-to-text, vision, and language models that process creative content to produce analysis
  • Stripe — checkout and payments
  • Email delivery — transactional messages
  • Analytics / error monitoring — optional product analytics and crash reporting configured for the Service
  • Authorities when required by law or to protect rights and safety

6. Cookies & sessions

We use cookies and similar technologies for authentication, session security, and basic site function. You can control cookies in your browser; disabling them may prevent sign-in or workspace use.

7. Retention

We keep account, billing, credit, and analysis records for as long as your account is active and as needed for operations, support, security, and legal obligations. You may request deletion of your account or specific analyses by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business needs (e.g. completed payments, abuse prevention).

8. Security

We use industry-standard measures such as encryption in transit and access controls on workspace data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please protect your passwords and API keys (when available).

9. Your choices

  • Update profile and workspace settings when available in-product
  • Delete saved analyses or request account deletion by contacting us
  • Request access or correction of personal data we hold about you
  • Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable privacy laws

10. International transfers

We may process information in the United States and other countries where our providers operate. If you access Addvert from elsewhere, you understand your information may be transferred to those locations.

11. Children’s privacy

Addvert is not directed to children under 16 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

12. Changes

We may update this Privacy Policy. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
